Wildlife habitat is disappearing each year at an alarming rate. If we continue at this rate, many of our native wildlife species will have few places to live.
After learning the staggering numbers of acres lost each year and the plight of the wildlife species that call it home we made the decision to set aside the farm acreage for a wildlife habitat. We are small, but even this amount will offset some of the loss.
In 2010 we officially established the Frogg Mountain Wildlife Habitat. Our lifelong love of the great outdoors and the creatures that call it home, both wild and domestic made the decision an easy one.
We believe and share the spiritual thought of our Native Americans that there is no true ownership of this great heritage God has given us... that we call home, but instead we are the guardians for the next generation. It is our privilege to love, and cherish it, and our duty to protect and preserve that which has been left in our care.
At this time we are not open to the public, but hope in the future to establish walking trails and other projects that will make us accessible.
We love our wildlife, but it's not only "ours"... it belongs to everyone. We look forward to the day when we are able to share it. Keep up with the news and happenings on our blog. click here
