THIS FROM SHARON.............
Does Geico sell flood insurance?  You would think being an amphibian that flooding would not be a problem, but this little green tree frog would disagree.  Sharon says, reclaiming a potted plant from a winter sleep she heard a strange noise while watering.  Following the sound she looked down to see a pair of eyes peeking out at the bottom of the planter.  It seems the water collecting in the planter flooded this little fellow out while resting in the pot.
THIS FROM DENT................
The Beverly Hilton its not, but it is definitely a step above your average dog house.  Recently Hedi Girl enlarged her family with new
pups.  Before the small dog house she shared with Muff was crowded with just the two.  So, Dent seeing the old packing crate knew exactly what he was going to do with it.  Seen here with Hedi, he is pointing out some of the amentias in their new house.....two levels down stairs for the rowdy boys and a master suite up stairs, a porch, a sun deck featuring screens over all the windows and door.  Did someone say aircondition?
A NEW NEIGHBOR...............
The bald eagle is our national bird, and is the only eagle unique to North America.  They are a member of the accipitridae family, which  also includes hawks, kites, and old-world vultures.  They differ from many other birds of prey mainly by their larger size, more powerful build with strong muscular legs, powerful talons, and heavier head.

In 1967 they were officially declared an endangered species in all areas of the US.  In 1995 they were upgraded to the status of "threatened", but even though they are no longer on the Endangered Species List they are still protected by the Migatory Bird Treaty Act and the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act.

The Bald Eagle Protection Act prohibits the take, transport sale, barter, trade, import and export, and possession of eagles, making it illegal for anyone to collect eagles and eagle parts, nests or eggs without a permit.  Native Americans are able to possess these emblems which are traditional in their culture.
