BJ is one of the twenty five or more goats that calls the farm home.  She was born blind.  When we found her the mother had rejected her, so we bottle fed her until she was able to eat on her own.  At first there was a real concern whether she could manage without her sight, but just as people, her hearing became her eyes.  She lives a normal life just as the others, and has been a mother many times over,: a very good mother.  Her babies are always normal and healthy.

FROGG MOUNTAIN
WILDLIFE HABITAT
THE HOO.....FLOSSIE MAE
Flossie along with her mate first showed up in our community a few years ago.  After making the rounds to all our neighbors, staying sometimes a week to just a day with each, she adopted us.  Sadly her mate was sick and we were unable to save him, but Flossie made herself right at home and unpacked, so to speak.  She has become the barnyard aristocrat proudly displaying her royalty to which ever group she decides to grace with her presence.

You never need an alarm clock because she makes her rounds every morning on schedule calling out what some say sounds like a woman screaming.  Screeching a very high pitch hoo hoo would be more precise earning her the name, "the hoo."

HENRIETTA
Henrietta along with a sibling was rescued from a good intentioned owner who no longer could care for the two when the 5x6 pen he brought them to as babes became standing room only.  Emus are the largest birds native to Australia and can stand up to 6 1/2 feet tall.

     DON'T HIT THE PANIC BUTTON!
Strange occurrences in Frog Mountain were nothing new to the earlier settlers there.  According to stories handed down one would think they had landed in the twilight zone with everything from headless men who grew and shrank at will to floating lights
